Patterns in Nature
I was learning to find patterns in nature.
I am so proud of being able to find different patterns in different places.
It can be tricky to find the right patterns in the right places.
My buddy can help me by putting the patterers in the right place.
The next step is to find another subject to work on it like this.

I am learning to write a Poem about Peace One Day using my senses.
I am so proud of being able to make my work more colourful and vivid.
It can be tricky to describe the senses.
The thesaurus can help me by giving me interesting words to use.
The next step for me in my learning is to write a more interesting poem.

My Recount and My Reflection
My Life Went To Waste
All of a sudden there is a big BOOM!!! The boat flies into mid air and lands upside down in the blood red sea.
I’m hanging off the boat with hardly any grip. My heavy bag is pulling me down into the blood red sea. I can feel water filling my uniform.
I can feel my life going to waste. By Alex
I am learning to write an interesting recount.
I am so proud of making my recount interesting by using similes and adjectives.
It can be tricky to write in past tense.
My Teacher can help me by spell checking my story.
The next step for me in my learning is to find an interesting topic for me to write about.
Ukulele Video
We have been learning to play the Ukulele with Mrs Talijaard.
Peace One Day
As part of our Inquiry work on Peaceful Communities we have been learning about World Peace Day on September 21st. On Friday 19th September we held a Taster Shared Lunch with Rooms 19 and 22. We had to bring in a small sample of a food that we might eat at home as a family favourite or a food from our culture. This helps us to learn about each other’s cultures and about tolerance of others.
